AnywhereHired is an independent remote job board built to save time for people who already know they want work-from-anywhere roles, especially candidates looking for junior and entry-level openings or roles that mention visa sponsorship. Instead of checking dozens of company career pages every morning, you can search one place, filter by category, and optionally get a weekly email digest matched to your interests.
What makes this site different
- Remote-first focus — listings are gathered and normalised around remote-friendly work, not generic local-only boards.
- Junior & entry-level tab — we tag roles that look suitable for early-career applicants using title and description signals, so you do not have to guess from senior-only titles.
- Visa sponsorship feed — a dedicated view for jobs that explicitly reference visa support, relocation, or sponsorship language (always verify details with the employer).
- Category browsing — engineering, design, product, marketing, customer support, and more, each with its own landing page and search.
- Optional resume matching — upload a PDF and see ranked job suggestions based on text similarity (helpful for exploration, not a hiring guarantee).
- Employer submissions — companies can post a role directly; those listings go through the same approval flow as aggregated jobs.
How listings are sourced
Most jobs are collected automatically from public remote job sites and APIs, then cleaned, de-duplicated, and stored in our database. We run scheduled pipelines to refresh the corpus, mark stale posts, and improve metadata such as company name, category, and posted date. We do not claim to list every job on the internet—our goal is a useful subset that is easy to scan and filter.
When you click “Apply,” you are usually sent to the employer or original job board. AnywhereHired is a discovery layer; application and hiring decisions happen on third-party sites.
Who runs it
AnywhereHired is operated by Anwesh as a personal product and research project (software engineering background, UK-based). The site is maintained in spare time: fixes, new sources, newsletter delivery, and data quality improvements ship as they are tested. Feedback is welcome—see our contact page if something looks wrong or you want to suggest a source.
Accuracy and limitations
Job posts change quickly. A role may expire, be filled, or have incorrect visa wording. Always confirm location, seniority, and sponsorship on the employer’s site before applying. We are not an immigration adviser and we do not guarantee that any listing still offers visa support at the time you apply.
