How AnywhereHired works

A quick guide for job seekers and employers

For job seekers

1. Browse all remote jobs

Start on the homepage. You will see the latest approved listings sorted by posted date. Use the search box to filter by keyword (title, company, or skills). Pagination lets you move through older posts without loading everything at once.

2. Use the Junior & entry-level feed

Open Junior & entry-level for roles we have tagged as suitable for early-career applicants. Tagging is automatic based on keywords in titles and descriptions—it is a helpful shortcut, not a formal HR classification. Combine this feed with search when you have a specific stack or location in mind.

3. Filter for visa sponsorship

The visa sponsorship view shows jobs where the text mentions sponsorship, visas, or relocation support. This is especially relevant if you are based in the UK or moving internationally. Read the full posting on the apply site before relying on any visa claim.

4. Explore by category

Categories such as Engineering, Design, and Product group similar roles so you can focus on your field. Each category page supports search and pagination like the main index.

5. Subscribe to weekly email alerts

Scroll to the newsletter section on the homepage (or use the popup when offered) and enter your email. Choose a category such as All jobs, Junior & entry-level, or Visa sponsorship. After you confirm your subscription, you receive a welcome message and then a weekly digest with up to 20 recent listings from the last seven days. Every email includes an unsubscribe link—one click removes you from future digests.

6. Try resume matching (optional)

Upload a PDF resume from the homepage hero panel. We extract text from the file and rank current jobs using similarity scoring (keyword-based TF-IDF). Results show on a dedicated matches page so you can open roles that look closest to your profile. Tips: use a text-based PDF (not a scan-only image), keep the file under the size limit shown on the form, and treat matches as suggestions—you should still read each job description. See our Privacy Policy for how uploads are stored.

For employers

Use Post a Job to submit a listing. Fill in title, company, location, apply URL, and description. Submissions are reviewed before they appear publicly. Include accurate remote/visa language so candidates are not misled. For questions about pricing, featured placement, or corrections, contact us.

How often data updates

Automated scrapers and enrichment scripts run on a schedule (typically twice per day on the server). New jobs are added; duplicates are dropped; some listings are marked expired when they are no longer available. “Posted this week” stats on the site use a rolling seven-day window based on posted or added dates.

What we do not do

  • We do not apply on your behalf or message recruiters for you.
  • We do not provide immigration or legal advice.
  • We do not guarantee interview callbacks from resume matching or newsletter digests.
